This young gun has another of those annoyingly talented yoofs that seem to invade every day. But when you see him ride whether it’s from his edits or in the flesh you soon understand that he is going to make a bit of noise quite soon in the world of Dirt jumping. I mean the guy boosts such high airs it begars belief as to how. Not only that but when a good number of more sensible folk would be tucked up in front of the fire, this guys out in the snow pulling insane moves that could well end up going squiffy i not careful. But does he care? I doubt it. So i think it’s safe to say that this perticular lad will be a Pro of tomorrow, if not sooner givern half a chance.
So we try to get in there first with the new blood and ask, “Who are you?”
1, Who are you?
I’m Ryan Nangle 20 years old, i’m a down to earth guy who just likes riding my bike, building trails and filming a lot!
2, Where do you live?
I live in pretty standard town called Farnborough in Hampshire
3, What do you do for a living?
At the moment I’m still a student doing a media degree, i also work part time at Morrisons ha
4, Whats the worst thing about it?
Doing essays, cant stand them!
5, And the best?
I get a lot of free time to ride.
6, Where do you like to ride?
Anywhere with some flowy trails or a big sender jump is always fun
7, Who do you ride with?
Anyone that is up for it. The usual people at the moment are Marcel hunt, Toby ware, Craig potter, Tom Ren… to many to name.
8, Where’s your favourite place?
Either riding or generally – riding in Barcelona was a pretty cool experience, they have a amazing bike park and its a sweet city to.
9, Where would you like to go that you haven’t yet?
Definitely has to be whistler or California, both look amazing!
10, What tunes do you like?
I like pretty much everything apart from metal. Dub-step gets me pumped to ride.
11, What gets you up in the morning?
Knowing that I’m going for a big ride with the lads. A bacon roll and a nice cup of tea helps though!
12, What could you not do without?
My bike for sure, I get Aggy if i haven’t ridden for a few days ha.
13, If you could meet anyone from the past or present, who would it be?
Would love to ride with Brandon Semenuk for a day.
14, When did you last scare yourself?
Trying to front flip a drop a couple of weeks ago, almost had it.
15, Who inspires you?
Anyone that is pushing the sport no matter how well known they are.
16, You recently picked up a ride for Dartmoor bikes didn’t you?
Yea! picked up my two6 player bike a few weeks ago from the Slam69 bike shop. The bike is amazing, its the lightest set up i’ve had and its rides so well.
17, How did that come about?
Well the team i was on before for 3 years broke up at the end of 2011 so i had to make some choices of my own and decided to go with Dartmoor because they have a sweet bike line up and were able to give me the support i needed for the upcoming season.
18, Whats it’s like to be on the team?
Its a good place to be. Graham over at the slam69 shop has helped me out so much with the bikes so thanks to him! Also riding with Marcel every weekend is sweet, we push each other to learn new things and its always fun.
19, Any signature parts etc coming out?
Got a fair way to go before any signature parts come out I think ha
20, What bikes will you be riding?
Dartmoor 26 player and a Dartmoor Shine
21,.What kind of riding are you into?
Dirt jumping, Freeride and a bit of DH
22, What does the future hold for you?
Hopefully lots of good times riding my bike with good people.
23, How would you like to be remembered?
That guy who is good at riding bikes? ha really don’t mind
24, Any funny tales you can tell us?
I once got pretty drunk at a riders after party in Germany and woke up in some random house, then spent the whole of the next day on my own trying to get back to my hotel, found it in the end ha.

Big thanks to dartmoor bikes for the new rides, Fox clothing for keeping me warm over winter, smuggling duds for the coolest underwear ever and my parents for taking me riding every weekend when i was growing up.
